Katherine Bear Tur, born October 26, 1983 , in America is a journalist on the broadcast and an author who works as a correspondent at NBC News. Tur anchors MSNBC Reports. Since 2021, she has hosted Katy Tur Reports. She has been a reporter on the NBC news platforms Early Today and Today, NBC Nightly News as well as Meet the Press on WNBC-TV, MSNBC and The Weather Channel.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Tur is the daughter of journalists Zoey Tur and Marika Gerrard. She attended Brentwood School (2001) and University of California Santa Barbara (2005) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy. She is of Jewish descendance.
